Southern Sudan Secedes, Northern Sudan Cracks (2)
The question that naturally comes to mind as the referendum and other issues to do with the secession of the southern Sudan are coming to pass and the bad treatment the southerners suffered in the hand of the northerners for more than half a century is the fact that the south and north belonged to different religious affiliations. The scenario may be used then as the theoretical fate of the non-Muslims living in a state of a “hard-line Islamism” to use the cliché of Harry Verhoeven in his guardian.co.uk article Northern Sudan at a deadly crossroads in which he insinuated the above where he said “The Sudanese people have rejected hardline Islamism and returning to centralisation and sharia is likely to hasten the demise of al-Ingaz through a violent disintegration of northern Sudan, as neither the people in the peripheries (Darfur, South Kordofan, Blue Nile) nor those in Khartoum would accept a monocultural, monoreligious "Arab" state”.

The people of Southern- Sudan are now enjoying alot of freedom to the extend that they mingled with the Northern Sudanese interacting with them and fight for there rights. Well i'm very happy for them.

The secession issue between the Northern and Southern Sudan should be a lesson to all, that no matter the irrelevance of a person or people,we should still respect and honour their participation in the development of the society.

the succession of northern and southern sudan is an eye opener to nigeria.full participation of all the regions in a country is very important.after all the stone that the builders rejected can turn out to be the corner stone.
The conflict in the Sudan region is almost the same, if not the same with te conflict in Nigeria. therefore, Nigeria should take heed lets the same fate befall her.
ALTHOUGH NO COUNTRY CAN SURVIVE WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF OTHER COUNTRIES WHICH MEANS INTERNATIONAL RELATION BECOMES NECESSARY, BUT STILL SOUTHERN SUDANESE TRIED A WONDERFUL GAME, I RESPECT THEM AND I I HOPE NIGERIANS WILL LEARN FROM COUNTERPARTS (SOUTHERN SUDANESE)
The use of religion in politics is now a common thing in Africa and is one of the reasons we are at war with each other. Even though some people think it is a conspiracy by the Whites to be able to move in and get oil, I still think Nigerians have a lot to learn from the Sudan saga.
referendum will not solve Sudanese crisis
where ever you find oil you find blood.

Among the objectives of western Media is propaganda, wich I think, they propagated to a greater hight.
And the case of Sudan is similer to Nigeria in some perspectives.
Western (developed) world are just using religion to achieve their goals by coursing crisis in the oil countries.
Hmmmm! Nigerian leaders should learn from sudan and take caution on how to avert this from nigeria.
Were are the Nigerians who wants Nigeria to be divide? this is an article for you. yes crude oil is a good mineral resource and powerful but places like Saudi Arabia survives without it and is doing far better than places with even crude oil in abundance.e.g Nigeria

The secession between Northern and Southern Sudan is not and will never be a solution because even after that the economy and country development in general will fall down and it will affect both parties directly or indirectly. this is exactly a reflect of what the people of Southern Kaduna seek
The action taken between the northern and southern sudan is never appropriate as it will continue to trigger some more problems, which will definately continue to drag their economy and development backward.
I Advice them to put hatred and differences aside and embrace peace.
i really appreciate their braveness
they are heroes i love their bravity
